Internship in the scouting department
Rosenborg BK is searching for internship applicants for the scouting department.

Rosenborg Ballklub are looking for highly motivated and dedicated football minds who are seeking to build their career in the football industry.
The internship program will be remote based, although some candidates could be locally based within the club. The program will provide successful applicants with and education program and hand-on experience by contributing to scouting and assignments for both the first teams and the academy.
The program is mostly based on video scouting, but on-site live scouting could be discussed based on the applicant’s individual situation.
No formal education or professional experience is required, although experience working with football in some capacity is preferred.
The internship students will work on a daily basis covering assigned markets and will be under the supervision of Technical Director Per Jarle Dalum
Requirements
- Fluent in English, both orally and in writing.
- Passionate about football scouting.
- Knowledge about football transfer market, especially in their home market.
- Strong communicative skills
- You will need a computer and access to internet.
Preferred
- Experience writing, analyzing, or coaching football.
- Has some initial network that can benefit the scouting process.
The program
- The internship will las for 8 months, from April to November 2025
- Learning about Rosenborg’s style of play and player profiles.
- Video scouting.
- Building knowledge in the assigned player market.
- Reporting and recommending players to the club through our platforms.
- The intern video scout will receive a certificate for further job search and for the leading participants will be in a good position for a permanent position within the club.
Applications will be received until the 30th of March 2025, and we will interview applicants on a rolling basis before that.
